I have never taken photos of fireworks before, so I thought I would start with Guy Fawkes. Turns out it’s much harder than I first thought. My main problem is getting the focus right when zooming in and out all the time. Perhaps either the new year fireworks or next years Guy Fawkes I will actually use my tripod also and just leave it at a single focal length.

My mate Jonny brought some fireworks with him when he came down, so when we got back from the display in town, we proceeded to set them up outside. After setting off three, we got one of my neighbours coming out and telling us we had to stop, we kind of thought O.K. but we decided to let off two more and then left it.
The last one I got on video. For some reason or another we decided to put it into the ground. It got stuck and went off while stationary. Not the best idea we have ever had! Any way, check the video out for the stupidity!
